Job DescriptionECS is seeking an Elastic Content Developer to join our team in Sierra Vista, AZ OR remotely.ECS is looking for an Elastic Content Developer to build and maintain scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions that support business, product, and technical use cases across AESS environments. You’ll work closely with cross-functional partners to deliver reliable, high-quality data in a fast-moving, distributed environment. In this role, you will be the bridge between raw data ingestion and executive-level insights. You won't just be "building dashboards"; you will be optimizing the entire lifecycle of a log - from the moment it leaves the source to the second it appears in a Kibana visualization.Core ResponsibilitiesBuild, enhance, and maintain data ingestion and transformation pipelinesDevelop and optimize analytics datasets and dashboardsSupport and maintain existing data systems as needed to ensure continuity and reliabilityDesign scalable data models that enable trusted analytics and reportingPartner with product managers, analysts, and solution teams to translate ambiguous requirements into effective data solutionsMonitor data quality and system health to ensure accurate, timely insightsVisualization & Content DevelopmentDesign and build advanced Kibana dashboards that provide real-time visibility into security posture, system health, and operational metricsDevelop complex TSVB and Lens visualizations to track trends, anomalies and KPIS across massive datasetsConfigure Canvas workpads for executive-level, pixel-perfect reporting and presentationsImplement Watcher and Kibana Alerts to proactively notify stakeholders of critical system events or threshold breachesSalary Range: $150,000 - $180,000BenefitsGeneral Description of Benefits Required Skills Expert-level proficiency with the Elastic Stack (ELK): Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, and FleetStrong scripting skills in languages like Python, RubyDeep understanding of JSON and RESTful APIs for data manipulationExperience with Linux environments and containerization as it relates to the Elastic ecosystemKnowledge of Query DSL and Lucene syntax for advanced data retrievalClearance Eligible: Active DoD Secret or Top Secret/SCI clearance.Certifications (DoD 8140/8570):A current IAT Level II certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE) at a minimum. (90 days to acquire) Desired Skills Clearance Eligible: Active DoD Top Secret/SCI.Certifications (DoD 8140/8570):Current IAT Level II certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE)
