Position SummaryThe Carwash Mobile Maintenance Technician maintains, and repairs equipment associated with the operations of Super Star Car Wash Locations. A Maintenance Technician is a thorough professional with a practical mind and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and responsibly while maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency. The role involves traveling to different locations to perform diagnostics, repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment and buildings. This role will be focused on the California area of San Diego.We're a "best of both worlds" kind of company. Along with tuition reimbursement, health/dental/vision, 401K and vacation time.Essential Duties/Tasks/Responsibilities(These responsibilities must be able to be performed with or without reasonable accommodation)Perform routine inspections, repairs and diagnostics on all electrical, plumbing and mechanical equipment and systems within our car wash operations in a designated geographyDiagnose mechanical issues and repair or replace defective componentsTravel to multiple locations using a company vehicle, managing time efficiently to meet or exceed expectationsRespond to emergency requests on as needed basis.Assist in the setting up of production and manufacturing machines and other systems and conduct repairs as necessaryComply with OSHA, local and company safety regulations, ensuring a clean and safe work environmentTrack and reconcile all work orders along with parts used via a work order systemContribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.Perform other duties as assignedMinimum Job RequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED3 years maintenance mechanical experience required, preferably in a commercial, retail or industrial settingBroad experience in electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, welding and installation strongly preferred18 years of age or older with proof to work legally in the U.S.Must hold a current state issued driver’s license and record in good standingAbility to successfully pass a pre-employment post-offer background, drug screen and 3-year motor vehicle check.Respond promptly to maintenance requests and document work performedExcellent communication and troubleshooting skillsMust have reliable transportation to and from work site dailyAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work autonomously and manage multiple prioritiesMust be available all days of the week and be able to arrive early or stay last as business dictatesMust have your own hand and power tools to include but not limited to drills, saws, grinders, and impact drivesKnowledge, Skills And Abilities RequiredStrong mechanical, electrical and hydraulic skillsKnowledge of general maintenance processes and methodsProficiency with hand and power toolsManual dexterity and problem-solving skillsWork Environment & Physical DemandsComfortable working in various environments (indoor/outdoor, varied weather conditions, heights, confined spaces)Standing, walking, bending and climbing for extended periods of timeAbility to lift, carry, push or pull up to 50 pounds dailyWhy Super Star Car WashSuper Star Car Wash isn’t just a place to get your car washed.
