Summary:
Mauston Tool is expanding and ability to serve a larger market in the plastic injection mold building industry. We are searching for dynamic individuals who desire to join a dedicated and progressive team.
With the proper skill and work ethic this is a very well paid position with overtime and benefits available.
Responsibilities
The CNC Programmer/Mill operator is responsible for the set-up of complex jobs, programming and operation of CNC equipment. The CNC Programmer/Operator must also maintain quality and safety standards, keep accurate records, maintain equipment and supplies.
-This is a first shift CNC programming/machining/engineering position and is for a person who likes challenging work and is able to problem solve in a fast paced tool and die shop
-Able to set up, operate and program CNC Mills, make adjustments to computer programs
-Complete tasks handed down from the CNC milling Department Head
-Use of appropriate machining techniques for highest efficiency and quality
-Attend and contribute to staff and facility meetings
-Trains and guides fellow employees as needed
Qualifications – Education and Experience
-3 or more years of experience in a Mold shop with CNC Programming/Operating experience required.
-Plastic injection mold experience a plus
-Working knowledge of SolidWorks
-Proficiency with Mastercam. PowerMill is a plus.
-Able to read and fully interpret blue prints and CNC programs

-Understand the machineability of different materials
-Understanding of geometry, trigonometry, shop math and calculator
-Able to lift up to 50-75 lbs. metal pieces and secure work piece in fixture with proper equipment
-Attention to Detail and Quality
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
