Process Engineer
Responsibilities Provide engineering support in multiple areas of manufacturing.
Specify, develop, justify, implement, and sustain assembly equipment and materials.
Improve quality, yield, efficiency, and capacity of processes in accordance with strategic objectives.
Apply statistical problem solving to identify root cause, evaluate new equipment and processes and process improvement activities.
Interpret results and provide recommendations to management.
Keep abreast of new developments in equipment, industry standards, best practices, and developments in assembly processes.
Model, teach, and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.
Understand. Create. Simplify.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications B.S. in Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Two years’ experience in process development in a related world class manufacturing company.
Ability to lead a cross‑functional team.
Ability to influence others and reach consensus.
Project management experience.
Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities.
Knowledge of statistics as applied to process capability measurements.
Effective writing, documentation, and speaking skills.
Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills.
Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
Background check results satisfactory to SEL and a negative drug test result(s).
Preferred Qualifications Thorough understanding of the materials used in the industry.

Compensation Pay range data: $97,700-$144,400 per year for the Process Engineer position; $84,200-$124,500 per year for the Associate Process Engineer position. Compensation ranges are based on the responsibilities of the role. Starting pay is determined individually and considers factors such as relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and training. Candidates may be considered at different levels based on their background. As a result, pay may vary to align with the level of the role.
