Senior Accountant

The Las Olas Network is partnering with a PE-backed wealth management firm, to hire a Senior Accountant during a pivotal moment in the company's evolution. Recently carved out from a larger parent and backed by a leading private equity sponsor. Our client manages approximately $500 billion in AUM across more than 40 offices worldwide. This is a ground-floor opportunity to help build financial infrastructure from scratch alongside a seasoned leadership team. What You’ll Own Preparation and posting of journal entries for accurate, timely financial recording Monthly account reconciliations: bank statements, general ledger, credit cards, and intercompany accounts Month‑end and year‑end close activities including accruals, prepaids, fixed asset depreciation, and revenue recognition General ledger maintenance and ensuring all entries are properly supported and classified Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and supporting schedules Support for accounts payable, accounts receivable, budget preparation, and variance analysis Audit readiness: organized records, schedules, and documentation for external and internal audits Identification and implementation of process improvements to drive efficiency and accuracy What We’re Looking For 2–4 years of progressive accounting experience (public accounting or corporate preferred) Solid working knowledge of GAAP Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and ERP platforms (Workday, TM1, or similar) Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset Integrity when handling sensitive and confidential financial information CPA license or progress toward certification a plus Experience in wealth management, financial services, or PE-backed environments a plus Why This Role Stands Out Join a newly independent company at the ground level — your contributions will have real, visible impact Collaborative team with clear runway toward Senior Accountant or Accounting Manager Hybrid and remote-friendly flexibility out of the South Florida market Work alongside experienced leadership building a best-in-class financial function #J-18808-Ljbffr
