Non-ProfitAbout the RoleThe Company is seeking a Chief Advancement Officer (CAO) to lead the strategic stewardship of the organization through a significant phase of growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all revenue streams, brand building, marketing, and communications, with a focus on driving the success of resource generation. This includes setting a comprehensive and compelling strategic vision, harmonizing the efforts of a large resource generation team, and building an integrated and diversified fundraising approach. The CAO will also be tasked with promoting a culture of philanthropy, enabling intentional growth, and sustaining the organization's financial health. As a member of the executive leadership team, the CAO will inform organization-wide priorities, participate in decision-making, and lead high-performing teams to serve the needs of the organization.Applicants for the CAO position at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' experience in leading resource generation in nonprofit settings, with a proven track record of success. The role requires a Bachelor's degree, exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, and a strong strategic vision. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of current trends in fundraising, marketing, and the global health landscape, as well as experience in change management and cultivating buy-in. The CAO must be a collaborative leader, capable of building trusted relationships both within and outside the organization, and should demonstrate the core values and competencies of the company. The position is based in the United States, with a preference for the East Coast, and may involve up to 30% travel.Hiring Manager Title
