The successful candidate will be responsible for strategic leadership in all areas of giving, including public and private grants, individual giving, and major gift campaigns. This role requires a deep commitment to the organization's mission, a minimum of 7 years of fundraising experience, and a proven track record in securing philanthropic gifts and managing government funding. The Chief Philanthropy Officer will work closely with the CEO and the Board to define fundraising priorities, ensure alignment with organizational goals, and stay abreast of philanthropic trends to implement innovative practices. Key responsibilities for the Chief Philanthropy Officer include expanding and diversifying the donor base, managing a portfolio of major donors, and overseeing donor engagement and stewardship. The role also involves team management, fostering a culture of philanthropy, and ensuring the development and management of the annual fundraising budget.
