Accountabilities IncludeManaging a portfolio of reinsurance placements from origination to signed contractsReviewing reinsurance structures, underwriting submissions, and terms and conditionsOwnership of reinsurance contract process including technical review of clausesAttending reinsurer marketing meetings and trips to support placement executionDriving reinsurance broker relationships to ensure timely completion of placementsFostering reinsurer relationships to generate additional reinsurance capacityWorking with the Reinsurance Operations team to support post placement activitiesCoordinating across Underwriting, Actuarial, Claims, and Risk to execute placementsDeveloping reinsurance analytics and reports to drive decision makingSupporting implementation of a new reinsurance system to drive efficiencies and growth Qualifications & Skills5+ years of experience in reinsurance or insurance within an insurance or reinsurance company, including reinsurance brokersBachelor’s degree in finance, Business, Actuarial Science, or a related fieldProficient knowledge of reinsurance concepts and methodologies to analyze and evaluate reinsurance structures, contracts, policies, and claims accuratelyStrong analytical skills to interpret complex insurance data, identify trends, and make informed decisions for portfolio management and risk assessmentProficient computer skills, including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, to organize and manipulate large data sets for reporting and modeling purposesIf you are looking for a career in an exciting and rewarding company, are driven to excel, thrive in a team environment and want to contribute to the success of an organization that values your contribution, we would like to hear from you!We thank all candidates for their interest, however only those selected for an interview will be contacted.Here at Trisura, we are committed to an inclusive and barrier-free workplace that reflects diversity.
