Electronics Production Technician

Job Description Admiral Instruments is searching for a full-time Electronics Production Technician with fine-pitch soldering experience. Your efforts will directly benefit thousands of our customers comprised of engineers and scientists in over 40 countries who use our instruments to manufacture or study cutting-edge advances in batteries, fuel cells, photovoltaics, sensors, corrosion mitigation, and more.The top two responsibilities of this role are as follows:#1 is to follow our well-defined precision and craftsmanship documentation to assemble our instruments for customers#2 is to assist with calibration, quality control, and organizational tasks throughout our entire production processHere are some more detailed duties you'll have as they relate to these two core responsibilities:Use soldering tools to install, modify, and test fine-pitch electronic assemblies by following vendor schematics and internally-developed proceduresAssist in the design and assembly of cable harnessesRun computer programs to calibrate and quality check our products during productionHelp write and maintain assembly proceduresAssist with preparing Bill Of Materials (BOM) orders from vendors, and organizing received partsMaintain a clean, well-organized workshop and warehouse spacePay And Benefits:Annual base pay ranges from $40,000 to $60,000, depending on experienceFreedom to set your own 40-hour per week daily working scheduleComprehensive benefits including flexible PTO, profit sharing, medical, dental, vision, and retirement savings planSupportive small team environment which trusts your work ethic and respects your timeWho We're Seeking:Associate’s degree or higher in an Electronics-related field (or equivalent technical experience)Aptitude for efficient and precise fine-pitch solderingProficiency using hand tools (wire cutters/strippers, screwdrivers, pliers, etc)High level of attention to detail and a proven ability to manage an organized workspaceIf you are seriously interested in interviewing for this job, please have the word "Squidstat" prominently featured in your response to us.
