At MJS Designs Inc., we are committed to delivering top-notch products, ensuring customer satisfaction.ResponsibilitiesTesting - Power up and perform functional tests on various micro-controller boards, cable testing, and system level testing. Must have working knowledge of common hand tools, digital multi-meters, O-Scope, power supplies, hi pot meters, and other lab equipmentSets up test equipment; Understands the test requirements for each type of board or systems/subassembly testedIdentifies component types and read component values or integrated circuits (ICS), resistors, capacitors, etc.Learn to operate and program a Spea 4080 flying probe testerProgramming - Programming micro-processors, flash memory and various Integrated Circuits (IC's)Trouble Shooting - At the system, board and down to the component levelDocumenting - Test results for each unit tested and creates or updates test procedures as neededComputer Skills - Some DOS knowledge; Windows XP or higher, Word, Excel, OutlookOperate and program a Spea 4080 flying probe tester (will train)QualificationsAbility to use hand tools and general test equipment (multi-meters, oscilloscope, power supplies, etc.) if working with electronic componentsDemonstrate basic knowledge operating DMMs to verify possible opens, short, resistance and diode check in working with electronic componentsAbility to read and understand schematics, drawings, assembly prints, procedures, specifications and other documentation describing electronic assemblies if working with componentsBasic understanding of Test Measurement and Debug TechniquesTechnical degree or 2 years industry experience a plusExperience with programming Flying Probe machine, a plus but not necessary.
