Locum Tenens Opportunity: Radiation Oncology Physician near Fayette, NY We are seeking a Board-Certified Radiation Oncologist for an exciting locum tenens opportunity in New York near Fayette. This is an excellent chance to join a hospital-based cancer center providing exceptional care to adult patients. Position Details: Location: Near Fayette, NY Dates of Coverage: December 23 - December 27, 2024 December 30 - January 3, 2025 Ongoing needs into 2025 Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Weekend Requirements: None On-Call Requirements: None Patient Population: Adult patients receiving radiation oncology treatments Average Patients Per Day (Outpatient): 18 radiation oncology treatments daily Number of Physicians in Practice: 1 Radiation Oncologist Advanced Practice Providers (APPs): None Documentation System: Aria EMR Key Responsibilities: Perform conventional radiotherapy and advanced techniques including 3D radiotherapy, SBRT, and IMRT Order tests and imaging studies Prescribe and manage radiation treatments for adult cancer patients No inpatient coverage or trauma cases Requirements: Board Certification in Radiation Oncology is preferred Active New York Medical License required BLS Certification required Experience with conventional and advanced radiation therapy techniques (3D-CRT, SBRT, IMRT, IGRT) is a must Prior locum tenens experience preferred, with at least one successful assignment Why Join Us?
