Senior Accountant - SAP Reconciliation Specialist

Environment: Fortune 30 Company - Contracting OpportunityWe are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented accounting professional for a focused project with one of the largest companies in the world.This hybrid role (3 days on site / 2 days remote) is based in Houston, lasting 2.5 months to start, and offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your expertise in SAP and complex account reconciliations.Key Responsibilities: • Conduct deep-dive reconciliation processes, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness across complex accounts. • Lead and manage account reconciliation, with a focus on detailed financial analysis and ensuring all discrepancies are resolved efficiently. • Collaborate with various departments including auditing, controllership, and procurement to streamline the Purchase Order (PO) process. • Support in the month-end close process by delivering accurate, complete financial data within tight deadlines. • Apply SAP expertise to enhance financial reporting and reconciliation workflows, ensuring best practices and compliance. • Contribute to process improvements for reconciliation and accounting operations, ensuring alignment with company standards and operational excellence.Qualifications: • 4+ years of hands-on experience in complex account reconciliations is required. • Strong background in audit, with experience working in or collaborating with large, publicly traded companies. • Extensive hands-on SAP experience is a must, with a focus on financial modules and reconciliation tools. • Thorough understanding of the Purchase Order (PO) process and how it integrates with accounting workflows. • CPA preferred but not required. • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.Key Attributes: • Detail-oriented with a passion for ensuring accuracy and compliance. • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to dive deep into financial data to resolve reconciliation issues. • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, capable of working across various teams and departments. • Adaptable, quick learner with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.If you're selected, you’ll be contacted promptly.This position is available immediately, and the recruitment process typically takes between 2 to 10 days.Don’t miss your chance to contribute to a world-class organization.Apply Now!
