Construction Project Estimator / Project Manager

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Project Estimator / Project Manager to oversee construction projects from initial estimation through successful completion. The ideal candidate would have a strong background in construction estimating, project management, and jobsite experience. This role will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, managing project timelines, negotiating contracts, and ensuring projects adhere to budget and quality standards. This position offers an opportunity to lead diverse construction projects while utilizing advanced estimating tools and management techniques to deliver exceptional results. Responsibilities Develop comprehensive project estimates using Bluebeam, Planswift, and other estimating software, ensuring accuracy in pricing and cost control Prepare detailed bid proposals by analyzing project plans, specifications, and contracts Negotiate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing Manage multiple projects simultaneously, coordinating with construction teams to ensure timely completion Oversee construction site activities to ensure adherence to safety standards, quality requirements, and project schedules Monitor project budgets and costs throughout the construction process, implementing adjustments as needed for cost control Review and interpret construction contracts, scope of work, and change orders Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues related to project scope, scheduling, or budget constraints Lead contract negotiations and manage contractual obligations with clients and subcontractors Provide leadership in construction management activities including scheduling, resource allocation, and risk mitigation Requirements Experience in construction estimating and project management within the construction industry or similar education. Experience in concrete related construction is a plus. Proficiency with construction estimating software tools Solid understanding of construction site operations, safety protocols, and management practices Effective communication skills for coordinating with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently while maintaining attention to detail Construction site experience is highly preferred for better project oversight Formal education or certifications related to construction management or estimating is a plus This role is integral to the successful delivery of high-quality construction projects through precise estimation and effective project oversight. The ideal candidate will demonstrate leadership qualities combined with technical expertise in the construction industry.
