Assembly Technician
Assembly TechnicianA growing equipment manufacturer in Norcross, GA is seeking a hands-on Assembly Technician to help build state-of-the-art products. This role combines mechanical and electrical assembly, with a focus on quality, efficiency, and reliability.Key ResponsibilitiesAssemble cabinets and kiosks using a combination of mechanical fasteners, wiring, and precision tools.Install and route wiring harnesses, connectors, switches, and power components based on schematics.Read and interpret assembly diagrams, wiring blueprints, and technical documentation.Perform functional and continuity testing on completed units to ensure electrical systems operate as intended.Identify and resolve basic assembly issues; escalate complex problems to supervisors or engineering staff.Maintain accurate records of work performed, including documentation of parts used and test results.Follow established safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.Participate in process improvement efforts to enhance efficiency and product quality.QualificationsAt least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or assembly role with exposure to both mechanical and electrical tasks.Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment (e.g., multimeters).Ability to read and follow detailed instructions, schematics, and wiring diagrams.Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certifications are a plus.Experience assembling electronics, vending machines, arcade systems, or similar equipment.Familiarity with cable routing and basic troubleshooting techniques.Understanding of quality assurance practices in a manufacturing setting.What's OfferedConsistent full-time schedule, Monday through FridayOn-the-job training with opportunities to grow into advanced technical rolesTeam-oriented culture focused on craftsmanship, quality, and continuous improvementIf you have a strong mechanical aptitude, comfort with basic electrical assembly, and enjoy building products with your hands, this is a great opportunity to join a stable and growing company.
