Position Highlights: Specialty: Emergency Medicine Board Certification: ABEM or AOBEM required Start Date: Flexible Schedule: Shift options include 6a-6p, 7a-7p, 10a-10p, 1p-1a, 5p-5a, and 7p-7a. Requires a mix of day and night shifts, including weekends. Minimum of 6-8 shifts per month, with the option for additional shifts. Support Structure: 42-bed Emergency Department with 60,000 annual visits. 80 hours of physician coverage and 36 hours of Advanced Practice Provider coverage daily. Certified Stroke and Heart Center. Requirements: Active Florida medical license and DEA at the time of presentation. Strong work history with no malpractice claims or gaps. Proof of current ACLS certification. Must complete all credentialing requirements, including NPDB submission if applicable. Clean file required; extensive affiliations not preferred. Additional Details: EMR system: McKesson. No on-call requirements. Physician must be prepared to participate in a phone or Zoom interview with the site???s medical director.
