Job Description: Complete seat EngineerSkills: Design Seat components Foam, Trim cover, PlasticResponsibilities:5 years of experience in automotive seating system and subsystem design and developmentThorough knowledge of engineering design & development concepts of automotive complete Seating systemVery good proficiency in CATIA V5/V6. Experience in design of Seat and seat components e.g., Foam Headrest, seat plastic, Cables, Lumber and trim coverRelevant experience in Master Sections, Vehicle Integration, Vehicle packaging, Concept creation, assembly processes of various Seat parts.Knowledge and understanding of Tooling and seat manufacturing processesPrepare and maintain engineering release and change documentation Ability to perform Complete Seat packaging study of seating componentsWorking knowledge of regulatory and certification requirements for seating system (FMVSS regulations)Maintain and develop Design Validation Plans (DVP), and Design Failure Mode Analysis (DFMEA),Good knowledge of seating system and component manufacturing processesProject Lunch experience is plus.
