Qualification Engineer

QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in a related field9+ years of experience working in aerospace certification, testing, or quality assurance rolesExperience working in an AS9100 quality environmentStrong familiarity with FAA Part 25 and EASA CS Part 25 regulations related to airborne equipmentIn-depth knowledge of RTCA standards and airframe qualification requirementsKnowledge of electrical testing procedures, EMI testing, vibration, pressure, and temperature chambersExperience with aerospace certification processes such as FAA/OEM data packages, FRACA/RCCA corrective actionsFamiliarity with MIL-STD and RTCA standards, aerospace environmental testing, and aerospace industry safety protocolsResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute certification and qualification test plans in accordance with FAA, EASA, and industry standardsPerform EMI, environmental, vibration, shock, and structural testing on aerospace components and systemsCollaborate closely with OEMs, certification authorities, and internal teams to ensure compliance with certification requirementsMaintain detailed documentation of testing processes, results, and certification data packagesSupport the resolution of certification issues through corrective actions and technical assessments
