This role owns the full product lifecycle — from concept through launch and ongoing optimization — and drives product delivery by identifying and prioritizing features that create meaningful value for internal and external stakeholders.Working cross-functionally across the organization, the Product Manager collaborates closely with project managers, software developers, customer service teams, and external partners to ensure successful product development and adoption.This role plays a critical part in designing intuitive, compliant, and scalable product experiences, particularly in enabling parents to efficiently and effectively access and utilize available funds. The Product Manager ensures that product strategy aligns with organizational goals while continuously improving usability, compliance, and customer satisfaction.Location: Remote (United States)Key ResponsibilitiesParent-facing commerce and spending experiences. Marketplace and service provider integrations. Reimbursements, direct pay, and purchase workflows. Transaction lifecycle design (authorization → settlement → confirmation). UX flows that reduce friction while enforcing policy rules.Partner and vendor enablement.Qualifications Demonstrated success and a proven track record of professional/life experience in specific job functions, projects, industries or military service can substitute for professional experience and/or formal education requirements.Requires three to five years’ experience as a full-time product manager, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Prior experience in accounting or finance roles. Experience in commerce, payments, or spending platforms:Examples: marketplaces, e-commerce, fintech wallets, reimbursements, payment rails.Strong understanding of:Purchase flows.Authorization and settlement concepts. Refunds, reversals, and exceptions. While this role is not responsible for accounting systems, you must understand that:Every dollar spent maps to a PR, PO, and Invoice. Transactions must align to downstream accounting rules.
