The successful candidate will be responsible for the formulation, interpretation, and administration of personnel policies and practices, as well as the development and monitoring of recruiting, hiring, and training strategies. This role requires a strong focus on compliance with federal and state HR laws and regulations, and the administration of employee benefits programs. The AVP HR will also be tasked with providing direction in the development of employee relations strategies to foster a positive work environment and will be accountable for the work of the HR division. Applicants for the Associate Vice President of Human Resources position at the company should have a Master's degree in a relevant field, with a preference for a Doctorate, and at least 10 years of experience in HR management, including a minimum of 5 years in a high-level managerial or executive role. The ideal candidate will have a background in higher education and professional HR certification.
