The successful candidate will be tasked with shaping the organization's approach to attracting, developing, and retaining talent in a competitive and complex environment. This role is pivotal in balancing enterprise thinking with local nuance, particularly in a mission-driven, independent setting with a mix of union and non-union employees. The VP of HR will have the opportunity to elevate the HR function as a strategic partner, strengthen consistency across various sites, and ensure the company remains an employer of choice in the region. The ideal candidate for the Vice President of Human Resources position at the company will have a Bachelor's degree, with a master's degree in business or HR preferred, and at least 10 years of HR leadership experience. While healthcare experience is beneficial, it is not mandatory, and candidates from adjacent or non-healthcare industries are encouraged to apply if they possess the right leadership mindset and systems orientation. The role requires a broad range of HR expertise, including talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation and benefits, performance management, and workforce planning. The candidate should be adept at working within a complex environment, have strong analytical skills, and a solid understanding of employment law, compliance, and regulatory requirements. Experience in advancing workforce pipelines, internal career pathways, and retention strategies, particularly for early career and hard-to-fill roles, is also a key consideration.Hiring Manager TitleChief Executive OfficerTravel PercentLess than 10%FunctionsHuman Resources
