The role emphasizes execution, team support, and operational oversight without involvement in staffing decisions, disciplinary actions, or strategic decision-making.Essential Functions (Other Duties as Assigned)Supports site leadership by executing assigned operational tasks; does not participate in managerial decision-making or formal leadership dutiesProvide direction to team members during shifts as delegated by site management, ensuring adherence to established procedures and standardsEscalate all staffing, customer service, or operational issues requiring judgement or discretion to the Site Manager or Assistant ManagerGreet and engage customers with professionalism and enthusiasm, promoting membership programs and special promotionsDemonstrate and maintain in-depth knowledge of car wash packages, pricing, promotions, and processesSafely operate and train others on the use of car wash equipment and chemicalsMonitor and guide vehicle entry and exit procedures to ensure safe, damage-free customer experiencesDelegate team members to appropriate workstations and monitor for efficiency and quality outputAssist in maintaining cleanliness and upkeep of the facility, including vacuum stations, equipment rooms, restrooms, and outdoor areasPerforms routine cleaning and maintenance tasks including but not limited to pit cleaning, vacuum bag/station cleaning, tunnel upkeep, dumpster cleaning, and removal of debris, to ensure a safe, clean, and operational car wash environmentPerforms duties as assigned, including operational and cleaning tasks that support site, shop, or store upkeepConduct quality control checks on both interior and exterior cleaning standardsAssist with opening and closing procedures strictly per company protocols; financial handling and site security are performed under management directionServe as a keyholder; assist in opening/closing procedures including securing the siteAddress customer issues or escalate concerns to management as neededModel and enforce adherence to company policies, safety procedures and operating standardsPerform other duties as assigned to support site operationsEducation and ExperienceHigh School Diploma or equivalent preferred, not requiredPrevious leadership experience in a customer-facing or operational environment (retail, car wash, etc.) preferredMust be at least 16 years of age (or older where required by law or safety regulations)Valid driver's license preferred (may be required depending on location and responsibilities)Must meet all required certification and regulatory compliance standards applicable to the role as defined by federal, state, and local lawsMust be able to successfully pass a background check in accordance with company policies and applicable lawsKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesKnowledgeUnderstanding of basic customer service principles and practices Familiarity with car wash packages, pricing, promotions, and process flow and willingness to learn Awareness of safety protocols and chemical handling procedures Knowledge of company policies, standard operating procedures, and cleanliness standardsSkillsAbility to clearly give instructions, resolve conflicts, and engage with customers Ability to motivate team members and delegate responsibilities Problem solving and decision-making skills under pressure Time management and task prioritization during busy shifts Basic technical aptitude to operate car wash equipment Basic computer skills, including the ability to use email, navigate spreadsheets (e.g., MS Excel) and perform standard data entry tasksAbilitiesAbility to lead by example in a fast-paced environment Ability to monitor and evaluate team performance during shifts Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a customer-first focus Ability to maintain composure and professionalism under stress Physically able to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods, and work in outdoor conditionsPhysical RequirementsAbility to walk, stand, and move, often uneven, moving and/or wet surfaces through siteAbility to stoop, crouch, bend frequently, and constantly using fingers, hands, and arms including occasional ascending and descending a ladderAbility to twist, carry, reach, push, and pull frequentlyAbility to lift and carry 50 pounds without assistance for work-related materialsAbility to work outdoors and be efficient in all weather conditionsAbility to work on your feet in a fast-paced, physically active environmentUse of personal protective equipment (gloves, eyewear, etc...) as requiredMust be able to work in an environment with varying noise levels, including loud sounds from machinery, tools, or high-traffic areasFlexibility to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends, as business needs or emergencies ariseSpotless Brands and its affiliate brands are Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) employers.
