TitleCleanroom LeadJob DescriptionJob OverviewThe Cleanroom Lead will be responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of the areas assigned and will safely provide some work direction to cleanroom staff.Roles & ResponsibilitiesTo perform this job successfully and safely, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.Perform janitorial dutiesPerform all duties listed on the daily scheduleProvide work direction and assistance to custodians as directed by Cleanroom SupervisorAssist Cleanroom Supervisor in scheduling and training staff as neededOperate motorized cleaning equipmentTrack equipment inventory, maintenance, and repairSchedule clean up and repair as neededMaintain daily upkeep of assigned areaTrack and maintain supplies inventoryAssist Custodial Supervisor in purchasing cleaning supplies and equipmentPerform quality, service, and safety inspectionsReport incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisorReport employee personnel and customer issues to supervisorMonitor employees for proper use of personal protective equipment, and suppliesCorrect at risk behavior, then report to the supervisor immediatelyProvide recommendations for corrective action on areas that need improvementQualificationTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.Education And/ Or ExperienceHigh school diploma / GED required with 6 mo. – 1 years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Certificates, Licenses, RegistrationsBilingual a plusCPR/AED/First Aid certification a plusMay be required to have a valid driver’s license.Completed all safety and task training certification.May be required to be forklift certified.Knowledge, Skills, And AbilitiesAbility to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment and willing to share with team.Knowledge of the upkeep and care of the cleaning equipment.Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis position has no supervisory responsibilities.Physical Demands & Work EnvironmentThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
