Accounts Payable Specialist Kalamazoo, MI $45,000–$55,000 Full-Time | M-FOur client, a growing and stable manufacturing organization in the Kalamazoo area, is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their accounting team. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and thrives in a deadline-driven environment.The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for managing the full-cycle accounts payable process, ensuring accurate and timely payment of invoices, and maintaining strong vendor relationships. This role works closely with internal departments to ensure proper coding, approvals, and compliance with company policies.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess high-volume vendor invoices accurately and efficientlyReview invoices for proper coding, approvals, and supporting documentationMatch invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentsPrepare and process weekly check runs, ACH, and wire paymentsReconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepanciesRespond to vendor inquiries in a timely and professional mannerMaintain accurate vendor records, including W-9s and payment termsAssist with month-end close, including AP accrualsSupport 1099 preparation and reportingEnsure compliance with internal controls and company policiesQualificationsAssociate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred2+ years of accounts payable or general accounting experienceExperience with full-cycle AP processingProficiency in Microsoft ExcelAccounts Payable Specialist Accounts Payable Specialist Accounts Payable Specialist Accounts PayableSpecialistAccounts Payable Specialist Accounts Payable Specialist Accounts Payable Specialist
