Electromechanical Switch Assembly PositionPerform duties to assemble several components into electromechanical switches and panel assemblies in accordance with required quality standards. Ability to do setup work and have complex knowledge and capabilities with testing and/or soldering. Cross trained and proficient in at least 80% of the assembly operations.Responsibilities and AuthorityWork from product drawings, work from written and verbal instructions.Perform hand assembly of small parts using hand toolsPerform trimming, lead forming, clinching, electrical testing, assembly, staking, and riveting on small presses on line process as well as off line operations. Wire stripping and etching.Perform individual off line assembly work as requiredInspect assemblies and parts to ensure quality standards are maintainedMaintain production records as requiredUse small fixtures, soldering irons, small press, gauges, and test fixtures and hand toolsFollow safety rules and keep work area in a clean and orderly conditionPerform other related duties as assigned.Skills and Experience RequirementsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
