This is a great opportunity to work in a stable, fast-paced production environment with a company focused on innovation and healthier food products.**Pay Rate:** $25-$32/hour (based on experience)**Shift:** 2nd Shift | Monday-Friday, 2:30 PM-11:00 PM**Overtime:** Available, including weekends as needed**Job Type:** 4-month Contract-to-Hire**Key Responsibilities**+ Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems throughout the facility+ Diagnose and resolve issues with **automated packaging and food processing equipment**+ Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance+ Repair and replace components such as motors, pumps, conveyors, and control devices+ Read and interpret **electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation**+ Safely work with **low and high voltage systems** , including motors and motor controls+ Support continuous improvement efforts related to equipment reliability and efficiency+ Follow all safety, GMP, and food manufacturing standards**Qualifications**+ High School Diploma or GED required+ **5+ years of experience** as an industrial maintenance mechanic or maintenance technician+ Strong working knowledge of:+ Automated packaging machinery+ Pneumatic and hydraulic systems+ Pump theory, operation, and repair+ Electrical troubleshooting and motor controls+ Experience in **food manufacturing or packaging environments** strongly preferred+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a production settingINDBHWe are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
