If you are passionate about cloud engineering, automation, and security-and eager to make a significant impact-this is an excellent opportunity to grow your career with us.Primary ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and maintain operational components in private on-prem clouds such as VMware ESXi and Microsoft Hyper-VAnalyze processes to create and enhance operational workflowsBe able to work closely with operational teams to build /improve cloud infrastructureBuild and maintain monitoring, alerting, and trending operational tools in the cloudRespond to alerts; troubleshoot and resolve problemsBe proactive in recognizing and handling uptime and performance challengesPerform automating using infrastructure as a codeAutomate self-provisioning of resources and services for a Private Cloud EnvironmentConfigure and deploy containerized micro-service componentsTroubleshoot the system and provide root cause analysisProvide rotational 24/7 on-call technical supportRequirementsUS citizen 2+ years of systems engineering experienceExperience configuring and troubleshooting Windows or Linux environmentsExperience working in private on-prem cloud environments running VMware ESXi or Microsoft Hyper-VAbility to create, edit, and maintain scripting code from Bash, Powershell, Python, and Javascript for infrastructure configuration and buildingExperience with configuration management systems such as AnsibleUnderstanding of build/automation systems such as Jenkins or GitHub ActionsExperience with infrastructure provisioning tools such as Terraform and PackerAbility to automate workflows via scripting for self serviceUS citizenship with Active or Current (within 2 years of active) Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibilityVisa sponsorship is not available for this posting.
