Location: Gastro Associates of SRQ, LLCDescription: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Procedure Scheduler to join our team. The Procedure Scheduler will be responsible for efficiently coordinating all aspects of patient procedures within our gastroenterology office. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Procedure Scheduler to join our team and support our mission.Essential Duties:Schedule patient appointments for gastrointestinal procedures, including colonoscopies, endoscopies, and other diagnostic testsCoordinate with patients, physicians, and medical staff to ensure accurate scheduling and preparation for proceduresCommunicate procedural instructions, including preparation and dietary guidelines, to patients in a clear and concise mannerMaintain accurate records of scheduled appointments and procedure details in electronic medical records (EMR) systemsAddress patient inquiries and aid with scheduling changes or cancellations as neededCollaborate with other administrative staff to optimize scheduling efficiency and patient flow within the officeFollow up with patients to confirm appointments and provide pre-procedure instructionsAssist with other administrative tasks as assigned by managementOther duties as assignedPlease note that the duties and responsibilities outlined in this job description are not exhaustive and may be subject to change at any time to meet the evolving needs of the company. The employee is occasionally required to stand and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and climb stairs. The employee should be able to lift and move up to 25 lbs. The work environment is typically quiet to moderate with standard office noise levels.
