Job Overview
The Project Manager will oversee and manage commercial construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. As a key leader on our team, you will work closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure the successful execution of each project.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage all phases of commercial construction projects, including preconstruction, construction, and closeout.
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and work plans.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
Direct and supervise project teams, including subcontractors, vendors, and on-site personnel.
Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, ensuring clear communication and teamwork throughout the project lifecycle.
Ensure all work is performed to the highest standards of quality, in compliance with design specifications and building codes.
Implement and enforce strict safety protocols on all job sites, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members and subcontractors.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met or exceeded.
Provide regular updates to clients on project status, addressing any concerns or changes promptly and effectively.
Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring all costs are tracked and controlled throughout the project.
Review and approve subcontractor and vendor invoices, change orders, and other financial documents.
Proactively identify and mitigate potential budget risks or overruns.
Perform and manage all aspects of project financial management, subcontracting/buyout, procurement, scheduling, document control, and project closeout.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Project Manager, with a strong focus on commercial and tilt-up construction.
Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale commercial projects from start to finish.
Comprehensive understanding of construction processes, methods, and best practices.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and lead diverse project teams.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, subcontractors, and team members at all levels.
Proficiency in project management software, such as Procore, Microsoft Project, or similar tools.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
Thorough knowledge of safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
Familiarity with design-build project delivery methods.
Expert understanding of construction document control for submittals, RFIs, procurement, and closeout.
Ability to autonomously manage and report on project financials, including a thorough understanding of change management processes.
Ability to interpret and work on construction schedules and site logistics plans.

Work is performed in an office environment as well as on project sites and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment. Must have the ability to walk short distances, and/or drive a vehicle to deliver and pick up materials.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
The employee frequently is required to sit. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, climb, or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and taste or smell.
The employee must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
