Senior Attorney - M&A, Compliance, Corporate GovernanceStarting Salary: $175,000 - $300,000Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Corporate Attorney to join our legal team. This position will play a critical role in providing legal advice and guidance on a variety of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, compliance, and corporate governance. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in corporate law and will be responsible for mitigating legal risks while ensuring the company operates within the law.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide legal counsel on mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence and negotiation of transaction documents.Draft, review, and negotiate contracts to ensure compliance with regulations and protect the company's interests.Advise on compliance issues and develop policies to minimize legal risks.Represent the company in litigation matters and manage disputes effectively.Provide guidance on intellectual property issues, including registration and enforcement of IP rights.Conduct legal research to support corporate strategies and initiatives.Assist in risk management by identifying potential legal risks and developing mitigation strategies.Keep abreast of regulatory affairs affecting the company and advise on compliance strategies.Support corporate governance activities, including board meetings and shareholder relations.QualificationsJuris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admitted to practice law in Washington State.Minimum of 20 years of experience in corporate law, with a focus on M&A and compliance.Strong knowledge of contract negotiation and corporate governance principles.Proven experience in litigation and dispute resolution.Familiarity with intellectual property law and legal research methodologies.Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.BenefitsMedical and Vision insuranceVoluntary Dental insuranceHealth Reimbursement Account PlanCafeteria PlanLife / AD&D insurance, Long-term Disability insurance, Whole life with Long-term care riderRetirement Plan 401(k)VacationSick/Safe LeaveOrca Pass/parking subsidy
