Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees.Based out of our Jamesville, NY quarry, this position will support work performed for our Micron Project.**What You'll Be Doing**+ Champion safety initiatives to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements+ Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate hazards+ Deliver engaging safety training and promote a culture of continuous improvement+ Collaborate with operations teams to implement proactive safety solutions+ Analyze safety data and trends to drive strategic decision-making**What Are We Looking For**+ Strong knowledge of safety regulations, compliance standards, and best practices+ Ability to influence and engage employees at all levels in safety programs+ Skilled in problem-solving and implementing practical solutions in dynamic environments+ Effective communicator with strong presentation and facilitation skills+ Commitment to fostering a proactive safety culture and continuous improvement**Work Environment**This role involves working in industrial and construction settings, including cement plants, quarries, and terminals.
