The role supports the development of online legal content, products, tools, and solutions for attorneys.About The RoleThe person in this role will help deliver a compelling and all‑purpose practical guidance legal product across targeted markets as a member of a multi‑disciplined team of content developers, product planners, external consultants, IT specialists, and marketing and sales representatives.As a Content Manager, you will apply your subject matter expertise to Practical Guidance, LexisNexis’s legal technology platform. You will collaborate with experienced attorneys and professionals dedicated to helping practitioners work more efficiently.ResponsibilitiesUse practical legal knowledge, market awareness, and AI capabilities to inform content development and support strategic project workWrite and edit thought leadership content, practical guidance, and other materials aligned with customer and business needsSupport the development and refinement of AI-enabled tools, features, and content solutionsContribute to the growth and development of a portfolio of content, products, or strategic initiativesBuild and maintain relationships with attorney authors and other subject matter expertsStay current on legal, regulatory, and practice developments, as well as trends affecting customers and the businessWork across business units and cross-functional teams to develop content, improve offerings, and enhance customer satisfaction and usageUse customer feedback, usage trends, and other data insights to inform content strategy and business prioritiesRequirements5+ years of experience as a transactional lawyerDeep expertise in commercial transaction workflowsAbility to translate complex legal concepts for diverse audiencesSuperior writing and analytical skills, with experience in drafting client newsletters/alerts, law journal articles, practical guidance, CLE presentations, or other legal writing a plusStrong writing, editing, and analytical skillsExcellent communication and presentation skillsHighly organized, proactive, and detail‑orientedComfortable working independently and in teamsProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, AI technologies, and legal research toolsJD (or equivalent) with active bar membership in good standingWork In a Way That Works For YouWe promote a healthy work/life balance across the organization. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates. Base Pay Range for CO is $95,300 - $158,800. Base Pay Range for IL is $100,100 - $166,800. Base Pay Range for Chicago, IL is $104,800 - $174,700. Base Pay Range for MD is $100,100 - $166,800. Base Pay Range for NY is $104,800 - $174,700. Base Pay Range for New York City is $114,300 - $190,500. Base Pay Range for Rochester, NY is $95,300 - $158,800. Base Pay Range for OH is $90,500 - $150,900.
