Available in Other Office: Bakersfield or VisaliaSummaryProvost & Pritchard is seeking a skilled and motivated Environmental Field Technician to join our Clovis team. In this role, you will support a variety of environmental consulting services that include hazardous materials assessments, industrial hygiene evaluations, and indoor air quality investigations. The ideal candidate brings field experience conducting surveys, inspections, and abatement monitoring for asbestos, lead-based paint, and other hazardous materials, along with a commitment to delivering accurate and dependable work.DutiesConduct field inspections, environmental assessments, and contractor oversight during remediation and abatement activities.Perform asbestos and lead-based paint surveys, air monitoring, and indoor air quality investigations.Document site conditions and field activities through detailed field notes and photographs.Calibrate, maintain, and operate sampling and monitoring equipment.Prepare clear, concise technical reports and data summaries.Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety standards and client-specific protocols.Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure project success and client satisfaction.Serve clients in Fresno, Madera, Tulare, Kings, and Kern Counties, with occasional travel throughout California based on project needs.QualificationsCurrent California CSST (Certified Site Surveillance Technician) - RequiredAsbestos Building Inspector and Contractor/Supervisor Certifications - RequiredCDPH Lead Inspector/Assessor Certification - Required2+ years of field experience in industrial hygiene or hazardous materials consultingAbility to wear PPE, including respiratorsFlexibility to work nights/weekends as neededProficient with laptop use and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Strong written and verbal communication skillsValid California driver's license and reliable transportationAbility to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and enter attics/crawl spacesHigh school diploma or equivalent required
