Maintenance Technician 3rd shift 11pm-7am
General Assignments
· Repair and maintain machinery and medical equipment such as motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, production machines and equipment
· Troubleshoot electrical systems including, but not limited to three-phase motors, start/stop circuits, AC/DC drives and running electrical conduit
· Modifies PLC programs
· Observe mechanical devices in operation and diagnose malfunctions
· Dismantle machines and equipment to repair or replace defective parts
· Make approved modifications to machinery and equipment to meet production needs
· Maintain, install and repair electrical and electronic equipment
· Must be able to troubleshoot pneumatic and electrical control circuits
· Ability to fabricate parts using a mill and lathe
· Keep accurate maintenance and preventative maintenance records and insure all revisions to equipment and tools are properly recorded
· Keep maintenance are clean and free from safety hazards
· May be a member of hazardous response team
· Assist with new equipment instillations and special projects
· Performs facility repairs as necessary, i.e. plumbing, electrical, etc.
· Actively supports plant safety efforts through departmental participation in safety meetings and safety walks
· Engages in safe practices as well as follows and enforces safety rules and job rotations.
· Must be willing to report unsafe conditions, reporting unsafe acts, participating in safety/ergonomic committees, participating in safety Kaizen events, participating in Blue Sky initiatives, participating in safety audits, and participating in safety observation feedback events.
· Assist the plant in achieving safety goals while achieving and maintaining Safe Workplace and Environmental and Sustainability AMS objectives.
· Initiate timely investigations of all reported incident/accidents, injuries and timely completion of all 8Ds listing the “5 whys” and identify and document the root cause.
· Attend all required training.
Attributes/Skills Required/Sought
· A High School diploma or equivalent is required.
· 2 year degree specialized education or equivalency training in the appropriate areas, with additional vocational technical training in skilled trades is desired.
· Industrial Electrical and/or PLC training is a plus.
· Requires a working knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and ladder logic diagrams.
· Experience with vision systems is preferred.
· Industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, electrical controls fabrication and troubleshooting, and personal computer hardware and software experience is desired.

Pay: $29.50 - $31.50 per hour
