This role is a part of the Control Center team within the Airports group.What you'll do:Oversees the activities of AA employees who perform the movement of aircraftChairs daily shift briefings and prepares daily station tour reports and analysis for station dependabilityIdentifies daily challenges that will hinder operational objectives and communicates operational plans effectivelyRemains available and flexible to pivot in realtime based on operational needsMonitors station arrival/departure dependability performance while analyzing trendsInvestigate and resolve all operational irregularities to ensure compliance with AA operating proceduresAdjudicates properly the Delay Code Handbook and AYR proceduresCommunicates with all local operating departments as well as IOC, MOC, AA central loads, and outside agencies pertaining to AA operational schedule and effectively interprets information from the various sourcesWorks rotating/flexible shifts as operationally requiredPerforms other duties as requested while adjusting to operational needsLook ahead and take advantage of opportunities to mentor and develop Control Center CSM and coordinator staff to advance the future of the organizationEnsure all Team members comply with American Airlines attendance, performance, and work environment policiesLead and manage the execution of Emergency Action plansAll you'll need for success:Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Business Management or Science in Aviation or equivalent experience/training5+ years of leadership operational experience leading people or relevant experiencePreferred Qualifications:Airport Control Center or Integrated Operation Center ExperienceKnowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.Ability to handle multiple concurrent assignments/projects and be flexible to lead those projects to completion when requiredSkills in excellent leadership and teamwork with a proven ability to work effectively in a variety of situationsAbility to be self-driven, highly motivated, creative, and results-orientedAbility to work well under pressure and a variety of work schedulesAbility to effectively collaborate with stakeholders across different departmentsAbility to fulfill FAA criminal background checks to qualify for unescorted access privileges to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicableWhat you'll get:Feel free to take advantage of all that American Airlines has to offer:Travel Perks: Ready to explore the world?
