Nurse Practitioner, Full Time

The Inpatient Spine Nurse Practitioner provides advanced clinical care to adult patients with spinal conditions across the continuum of hospitalization. This role manages pre-operative, post-operative, and non-operative spine patients on the inpatient floor, working collaboratively with spine surgeons and an interdisciplinary care team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. Job Description: Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and management of inpatient spine patients Manage daily rounding, care coordination, and clinical decision-making for post-operative and non-operative spine cases Develop, implement, and adjust individualized plans of care based on patient condition and recovery goals Order, interpret, and act on diagnostic tests, imaging, and laboratory results Prescribe medications and manage pain control, mobility progression, and post-surgical recovery Identify and manage complications, escalating care as clinically indicated Perform procedures within scope of practice as required by the service Collaborate closely with surgeons, nursing, physical and occupational therapy, case management, and pharmacy Lead patient and family education related to diagnosis, procedures, recovery expectations, and discharge planning Facilitate safe and timely discharges and ensure continuity of care across transitions Participate in quality improvement initiatives, evidence-based practice, and service development Requirements Master's degree in Nursing required. License Nurse Practitioner License required., and Certificate 1 Basic Life Support required. 1-3 years related work experience required. MA Board authorization to practice as an APRN NRSG Valid prescriptive authority from both the MA DPH-DCP and Federal DEA American Heart Association - Basic Life Support Certificate Pay Range: $133,515.20 USD - $181,563.20 USD The pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
