Facility Technician

Imaging Healthcare Specialists (IHS) is seeking a Facilities Technician to provide exceptional service. The Facilities Technician is responsible for maintaining the safe, efficient, and functional operation of assigned facilities. This position focuses on troubleshooting issues and completing work orders independently with minimal supervision. What You’ll Do Performs non-licensed handyman and maintenance work, including changing light bulbs and fixtures, painting and patching drywall or sheetrock, diagnosing minor electrical issues, and completing basic repairs and adjustments. Independently completes assigned facility maintenance tasks and work orders from start to finish. Utilizes work order management software to monitor and update statuses on requested work orders. Troubleshoots and resolves routine facility issues using sound judgment and problem-solving skills. Conducts routine preventative maintenance inspections to identify potential issues and extend the lifespan of facility equipment and systems. Assists with minor plumbing repairs, including unclogging drains, repairing leaks, and replacing fixtures such as faucets or toilet components. Supports facility setup and breakdown for meetings, events, or special projects, including arranging furniture and equipment. Maintains exterior areas of facilities, including debris removal, and ensures walkways are safe and accessible. Adheres to all safety policies and procedures, including proper handling of tools, equipment, and hazardous materials, and reports safety concerns promptly. Maintains physical spaces to ensure a safe, clean, organized, and fully functional environment. Identifies facility issues proactively and takes corrective action without requiring constant oversight. Coordinates with vendors and contractors as needed to resolve issues beyond current abilities. Manages facility supplies and assists with inventory restocking Ensures tools and equipment are properly stocked, maintained, and in working order. Delivers supplies and equipment to assigned facilities and sites. Completes cash pick-ups and deposits. Adjusts work schedule as needed to address urgent facility issues. What We’re Looking For High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required. Minimum of one year of experience in facilities maintenance, handyman work or related experience.
