This executive-level role is pivotal in driving the strategic expansion of the property insurance portfolio, with a focus on underwriting leadership, broker and reinsurer relationships, and the execution of growth-oriented initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the underwriting and business development strategy, growing and managing a profitable book of property insurance business, and structuring facultative reinsurance programs. Key responsibilities also include building and leading high-performing underwriting teams, developing and strengthening relationships with various partners, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Applicants must have a minimum of 15 years' experience in property insurance, with a strong background in MGA operations, reinsurance structures, and fronting relationships. The role requires expertise in natural catastrophe modeling, per-risk rating methodologies, and a proven track record in developing and scaling underwriting programs. The ideal candidate will be a skilled negotiator, a strategic thinker, and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills. A Bachelor's degree in a related discipline is required, with an MBA or CPCU being preferred.
