Regional Accounts Manager
Eco Materials is a new, forward-thinking company based in Philadelphia, PA that is dedicated to promoting sustainability and protecting the environment through innovative waste treatment and recycling technologies. Eco Materials is seeking an experienced Regional Accounts Manager to grow our soil and environmental solutions business across the PA, NY, and NJ tri-state market territory.This role focuses on building relationships with industrial customers and environmental service partners that generate non-hazardous soil and industrial waste requiring treatment, transportation, and recycling or disposal.Primary Responsibilities (Essential Functions):Maintains current customers and acquires new customers by meeting or exceeding goals for territory revenue, growth objectives, account retention and customer service functions via cold calls, sales calls and presentations. This interaction includes the entire sales cycle from prospecting, maintenance, proposals, contracts, price increases, cancellations and contract renewals.Builds relationships with current customers while growing revenue and profits through service changes and price increases.Communicates regulatory compliance issues to customers.Implements sales strategies to maximize revenue and profits through maintenance and penetration of existing customers.Resolves problems and coordinates customer needs with Plant Operations and/or additional team members, as needed. Works as liaison between customers and accounts payable department for collection of receivables when requested.Sells in a highly consultative manner, with ability to articulate the company value-proposition and the benefits of working with Eco Materials brand over companies and direct competition.Creates presentations for key sales customers and prospects.Coordinates the development of sales objectives, territory, and account selling strategies and ensures their execution.Completes territory routing plans, territory forecasts and customer business reviews.Provides management with information used to evaluate regional and national opportunities.Promotes customer brand loyalty by participating in or joining regional/national professional organizations that serve the regional marketplace and/or consumers.Makes daily calls on new prospects within the targeted territory, along with identifying leads via a variety of internet websites, networking, key vendors, and peers within local and national organizations.Monitors and communicates sales performance against goals through approved performance metrics.This is a combined “hunter” and “farmer” sales position, managing a book of business while driving territory growth through new business prospects.Perform other reasonably related tasks as assigned by management.Qualifications: Minimum 3+ years of B2B sales experience, specifically in environmental services, soil remediation, construction, or waste management.Strong understanding of environmental regulations and soil disposal processes.Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, environmental science or a related field preferred.Valid driver’s license required.Ideal Background/Skills:Strong consultative selling and relationship-building skillsExcellent negotiation, communication, presentation and Customer Service skills to build and maintain client relationshipsExperience in Lead Generation and converting prospects into long-term partnershipsProactive and self-motivated with the ability to meet sales targetsStrong analytical thinking and market research skills to evaluate market trends and identify opportunitiesProficiency with Microsoft Office tools and sales tracking software is a plusDemonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detailAbility to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environmentA proactive mindset with a passion for building lasting customer relationships and driving business successPrior experience in soil or waste disposal or recycling industries is a strong advantageTypical Workday/EnvironmentField-Based: The role involves frequent field visits to client sites (construction sites, industrial plants) and leading customer tours of our operating plant.Collaboration: High collaboration with internal operations and environmental compliance teams.Compensation Components: Base Salary/Commission/Bonus Structure; Vehicle Allowance or Fuel Card; Benefits package Benefits: Eco Materials offers competitive benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance; paid time off; phone stipend; and a 401(k) with company matching.Base Pay: The expected base pay range for this hybrid position is $110,000 - $145,000 per year. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive pay.
