Think of us as the travel buddy who handles the logistics while you focus on what you do best helping people heal.Roles & ResponsibilitiesProvide high-quality labor, delivery and postpartum care for low-risk maternal patientsManage deliveries and support patients through labor with skill and compassionPerform neonatal resuscitation (NRP) when required and support newborn stabilizationAdminister and titrate drips such as insulin, magnesium sulfate and Pitocin using Alaris IV pumpsDocument patient care thoroughly and accurately in EPICMaintain appropriate patient ratios (typically 1:3 mom-baby couplets; 1:1 for active labors) and escalate concerns as neededCollaborate with charge nurses and the interdisciplinary team to ensure smooth, safe patient flowEducate patients and families on postpartum care and newborn needsAdhere to facility policies (including fingernail/artificial nail policy) and maintain infection-control standardsAbout United Health Care Staffing, Inc."Better Pay" and "Zero Headaches" and Ready to love your scrubs again?At United Health Care Staffing, we don't just fill shifts; we fulfill bucket lists.
