Maintenance Technician

ALPLA values their employees, work-life balance, personal growth, compensation and sustainability.What Can You Expect From ALPLAHealth and Wellness Care Program- BenefitsChild Care BenefitsDependent Care Cost Savings ProgramRecognition programs; Promotional opportunities401K Retirement Plan and excellent Matching PlanMedical, dental, vision planEducation assistance program/tuition reimbursementShort term, long term and life insurance paid by ALPLAPaid vacation; paid holidays• Equipment installation and preventative maintenance: -Install and set up proprietary ALPLA equipment -Conduct regular preventive maintenance tasks on machinery to ensure optimal functionalityand prolong equipment lifespan. -Perform minor modifications and adjustments to machinery as needed to enhanceperformanceand accommodatespecific production requirements.• Performs predictive maintenance: -Utilize predictive maintenance methodologies, such as condition monitoring and diagnostictools, to identify potentialissues before they lead to downtime or production disruptions. -Employ specialized technical knowledge to perform predictive maintenance tasks, includingassessing equipment health, analyzing datatrends, and planning maintenance actionsaccordingly.• Troubleshooting and repairs: -Diagnose technical problems and malfunctions in molding machines using asystematic approach to identify root causes accurately. -Collaborate with technical experts and utilize advanced troubleshooting techniques toaddress complex issues effectively and efficiently. -Execute repairs on molding machines, both independently and with technicalguidance, restoring equipment functionalitypromptly to minimize productioninterruptions.• Facility Maintenance Support -Contribute to general facility maintenance tasks beyond equipment-specificresponsibilities. -Assist in maintaining a safe and organized working environment by addressingfacility-related issues and supporting maintenance efforts inshared spaces. -Collaborate with the facilities team to ensure a well-maintained andconducive production environment for seamless operationsWhat Makes You GreatPerforming a basic-skilled level of maintenance activities sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job listed aboveMin High School Diploma or equivalent2-year technical degree or equivalent experience at ALPLA or similar industryQualifications/Skills: • Knowledge of Industrial Maintenance Safety • Ability to read basic blueprints and schematics • Familiarity with power transmission systems and industrial controls • Basic understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics • Experience with programmable controllers • Knowledge of occupational math skills for measurements and calculations • Problem-solving and team collaboration capabilitiesPhysical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
