DescriptionJob SummaryWe are seeking a highly organized HR Coordinator to support the Human Resources operations for a growing multi-location restaurant group in New York City. This role will assist with recruitment, onboarding, employee records, and HR administration across several restaurant locations.The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities, and comfortable working in a fast-paced hospitality environment supporting both front-of-house and back-of-house teams.Key ResponsibilitiesOnboarding & Employee DocumentationCoordinate onboarding for new hires across all restaurant locationsEnsure completion of employment documentation (I-9, W-4, direct deposit forms, etc.)Maintain organized employee personnel files and digital HR recordsMaintain candidate pipelines and track hiring progressHR Admin & ComplianceEnsure employee documentation complies with federal, state, and New York labor lawsTrack required certifications, training, and work eligibility documentsSupport HR leadership with audits and compliance reviewsMaintain HR systems and employee databasesServe as an HR contact for restaurant managers and staff across multiple locationsAssist with employee transfers, promotions, and role changes between locationsCoordinate HR communication and updates across the organizationAssist with Workers Compensation filing, admin and follow up as neededEmployee SupportRespond to basic HR inquiries from restaurant staffAssist with employee relations documentation when needed RequirementsQualificationsAssociate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Hospitality Management, or related field preferred1–3 years of HR, administrative, or hospitality experienceStrong organizational and time-management skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesAbility to manage HR tasks across multiple restaurant locationsPreferred SkillsPrevious experience in hospitality or restaurant groupsFamiliarity with HRIS or payroll systemsBilingual (English/Spanish) highly preferred
