Job Title: Associate EngineerLocation: Rockford, IL — OnsiteWork Authorization: US Citizens onlyJob SummaryCollins Aerospace is seeking an Associate Engineer to support engineering documentation, supplier communications, engineering changes, and drawing updates. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Supplier Requests for Information (SRIs), Change Requests, and redline engineering drawings in an aerospace or engineering environment.Key ResponsibilitiesReview and process Supplier Requests for Information (SRIs).Support engineering teams in responding to supplier technical questions and requests.Prepare, review, and track engineering Change Requests.Review engineering drawings and incorporate approved redline changes.Maintain accurate engineering documentation and revision history.Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, quality, and other cross-functional teams.Support engineering change management throughout the product lifecycle.Analyze technical documentation, drawings, specifications, and supplier information.Ensure engineering changes are properly documented, reviewed, and implemented.Participate in engineering reviews and assist with resolving technical issues.Maintain compliance with applicable aerospace engineering processes and quality standards.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.Experience with engineering documentation and technical drawings.Understanding of engineering change processes.Experience with Supplier Requests for Information (SRIs) or similar supplier engineering requests.Experience reviewing or updating engineering drawings, including redline changes.Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work effectively with suppliers and cross-functional engineering teams.Ability to work onsite in Rockford, Illinois.US Citizenship required.Preferred QualificationsAerospace or aviation industry experience.Experience with CAD/drawing management systems.Experience with Engineering Change Requests/Orders.Familiarity with configuration management and revision control.Experience working with manufacturing or supplier engineering teams.
