Our studio capabilities range from strategic ideation and insights, creative development, branding and identity, experiential, web design and development, campaigns and content creation, all the way through full-scale production and execution.About this role: MATTE is looking for an Experiential Producer to join its fast-growing Experiential department. The Producer will be responsible for leading high-end experiential production for both project-based and retainer clients. The Producer reports to the Director of Experiential and works closely with project team leaders from other departments. This position involves providing essential assistance to MATTE's experiential production business unit and contributing to the management of the production team, which includes both full-time and contracted staff.The Producer primarily is responsible for leading experiential production for projects from kickoff through to delivery and wrap, including:Managing creative and technical experiential production that includes but is not limited to: building production plans and schedules, shepherding creative direction, overseeing junior production team members, and sourcing and managing all production vendors and partners.Developing and executing project scopes, timelines, budgets, and staffing plans for projects. Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, permits, and licenses for events and activations.Providing and representing our experiential production expertise internally with project teams and externally with clients ensuring we are delivering for our clients to the utmost quality and boundary pushing creative, while shepherding a process anchored in reality and feasibility.Determining a project's risk on an ongoing basis and escalating issues as needed.Monitoring out-of-scope requests and initiating additional estimates and approvals.Sourcing vendors and contractors as needed for all programs.Building, managing, and wrapping budgets ranging in scope and complexity alongside the Director of Experiential to maximize profitability.Supervising staff through the entirety of the campaign, proactively reviewing, troubleshooting, and escalating potential issues that may adversely impact deadlines and project commitments.Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including account management, strategy, creative, and operations, to ensure seamless integration of all aspects of the campaign.Working with client specific brand guidelines and bring projects from concept through production while maintaining consistency and adherence to high standards and specifications.In addition to actively leading projects, the Producer will:Collaborate with the Director of Experiential in the development of departmental tools, processes and ensure consistent organization and project process across the department. Along with Director of Production, support presale (pitches & phase 1s) workstreams, developing project timelines and budgets as bandwidth allows alongside active project work.Work strategically and in partnership with internal teams to build, maintain, and improve internal and external processes, workflows, systems, and policies.Directly manage 1 junior production staff member providing project agnostic mentorship, support and oversight.Coach junior production staff to maximize performance and ensure project quality.Keep all stakeholders apprised on any key changes that will affect final delivery.Direct and motivate teams to help them use their talents effectively.Maintain clarity of information and good channels of communication with other teams at the organization to ensure that projects are moving forward effectively and efficiently.Maintain a knowledge of, and stay up to date on, latest industry technology, trends and techniquesEngage, contract and onboard freelance resources and varied vendors, building a vast network of trusted resources.Qualifications and Requirements:Minimum of 5 years of experience in experiential marketing production, including event management and productionExperience managing employees with different working stylesAn ability to think fast, problem solve, present solutions and react positively to unexpected issuesApproachable, collaborative, results-oriented, problem-solving attitude and an ability to both provide and take direction wellStrong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Strong negotiation skills and experience managing vendor relationshipsExcellent organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage budgets and timelinesFamiliarity with relevant regulations and permits for events and activationsAbility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentA great network of vendors and industry connectionsAn adeptness in managing client relationshipsA strong work ethic and sense of project ownershipExperience managing project budgets that range and scale up to $1.5MMAbility to work on-site at our office in New York 4x days per weekSalary Range: $90,000-$110,000K/year based on relevant experienceBenefits include:Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage401k with a 4% company contribution max match Fully covered yearly Citibike membership wellness perkTalkspace membership wellness perkCompetitive PTO packageEnd of Year Recharge paid time offSabbatical Program option after three years of employment with usParental Leave for all new parentsEveryone is welcome at MATTE - we're passionate about building a team that reflects the diversity of our community and creating an environment where our differences are celebrated.
