Current shifts: 1st and 2nd Assistant Operators are responsible for maintaining quality of material being produced through continual adjustments of gauges that control machine speed. They are responsible for safety, quality control checks, and troubleshooting, while assisting the lead Operator in running the line. Assistant Operators aid the lead Operator in optimizing the machinery for the best production rate and scrap output.
