MES Engineer/Developer

***W2 Contract and LOCALS Only!! ***Title: MES EngineerLocation: 100% Onsite at Canton, NY, 13617Duration: 12 Months with the possibility of extension based on demandPosition Summary:Serving as a key technical resource under the direction of the IT Site Manager, this position works closely with plant operations, engineering, and IT to resolve user issues, implement effective solutions, and support ERP, MES, and other in-house applications that rely on Oracle and SQL databases. Responsibilities include application support, database analysis, testing, documentation, and end-user engagement in a production-focused environment.Required QualificationsAAS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent relevant experienceExperience supporting business and/or manufacturing applicationsHands-on experience with relational databases, specifically OracleAbility to write and interpret SQL for troubleshooting and data validationAbility to read and understand code, primarily C# and PythonProficiency with Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently on most support issues while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teamsStrong written and verbal communication skills with both technical and non-technical usersPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting MES platforms, especially Camstar or similar manufacturing systemsExperience in a manufacturing or plant environmentExperience with SQL ServerFamiliarity with MS SharePoint, XML, Visual StudioExperience with software QA, testing, and change deployment processesExperience with application administration or account management for systemsUnderstanding of production workflows, routing, WIP tracking, and manufacturing operationsMust Haves: C#, SQL, Visual Studio, Microsoft SuiteNice to Haves: Change Leadership, MS SharePoint, XMLWork Environment / Additional ExpectationsRequires physical presence on the manufacturing floor as needed to support operationsRegular interaction with operators, engineers, and plant leadershipParticipation in a 5-week on-call rotationOccasional off-hours support for critical issues, deployments, or production-impacting eventsBest Regards,Amitamustafi@divihn.com
