Join our Accounting team as our new Senior Accountant today!A few details about the role:Work closely with the directors of finance, accounting department and others within the organization to ensure journal entries and other transactions are accurately and timely recordedResponsible for assisting the accountants with questions and training; initial resource for questions on how to record transactions, policies, etc.Responsible for performing the accountant day-to-day tasks of the assigned community; performs the responsibilities of the accountant for communities that do not have an accountant, either due to size or turnover.Prepare daily reconciliations for cash accountsPrepare monthly reconciliations for assigned balance sheet and income statement accountsIdentify and resolve issues as they arise, and determine the process and controls needed to prevent the issue from occurring again in the futureAssist in the preparation of month-end, quarterly and annual reports, consolidation, and other reporting as assignedAssist with the budget, forecasting and audit processes as requested And here’s what you need to apply:Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.Five years accounting experience or combined education and experience.Knowledge of US GAAP.Lifespace has enjoyed over 40 years of success, and this is just the beginning.
