Design, implement, andmaintainLabVIEW applications with a particular focus on image acquisition and processing to support aerospace testing and validationCreate andoptimizePython-based desktop applications for Ground Support Equipment tofacilitateautomated test setups and data collectionInterface with a wide range of test instrumentation, ensuring robust data acquisition, system integration, and effective troubleshootingWork alongside test engineers, software developers, and hardware specialists toidentifychallenges, innovate solutions, and drive performance improvementsRapidly prototype experimental test setups anddata acquisitionsolutions that meet evolving project requirementsWhat You Need to be Successful
Minimum Requirements for a Senior Member of Technical Staff:
Bachelor's degree inSoftwareEngineering, Computer Engineering, or a related STEM discipline3 years of experience or more in software development with a strong emphasis on LabVIEW and Python within a test instrumentation or aerospace environmentDemonstratedexpertisein image acquisition and processing using LabVIEW, including the development of custom imaging solutionsWillingness to travel as neededto remote operations sitesThis position requires the ability to obtain andmaintaina security clearance, which is issued by the U.S. government. U.S. citizenship isrequired.In addition to the requirements above, the minimum requirements for an Engineering Specialist are:
6 years of total experience in software development with a strong emphasis on LabVIEW and Python within a test instrumentation or aerospace environmentExperience designing and developing desktop applications for Ground Support Equipment (GSE) with effective integration into test systemsExperience interfacing with diverse test instrumentation tofacilitatedata collection, system control, and diagnosticHow You Can Stand Out
It would be impressive if you have one or more of these:
Advanced degree (Master'sor PhD) in a relevant fieldHands-on experience with electronics hardware design, testing, or troubleshootingfor remote or field operations environmentsCertification in LabVIEW development or relevant experience with advanced test instrumentation interfacingExperience with rapid prototyping methods and agile development in a mission-critical settingWe offer a competitive compensation package where you'll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to our business. The grade-based pay range for this job is listed below. Individual salaries within that range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skills.(Min - Max)
$110,400.00 - $193,500.00Pay Basis: Annual
