Our client is looking for a passionate Data Analyst to bring mathematical muscle and analytical insight to some of the most critical defense programs in the nation. You'll help shape smarter decisions, optimize mission outcomes, and make sense of the chaos through models, simulations, and good old-fashioned number crunching.What You'll DoTurn data into decisions — design and apply mathematical, statistical, and simulation models to solve complex operational challenges. Apply advanced statistical techniques, including regression analysis, probability density functions, and conditional density functions, to evaluate and interpret data. Conduct predictive analysis to assess risk across multiple time horizons, including current conditions and long-term projections.Analyze existing datasets to extract insights and clarify risk (no requirement to build new datasets). Translate problem statements into appropriate analytical approaches, particularly in the context of weapon systems and mission-critical environments. Develop formulas, equations, and models to generate meaningful outputs aligned with operational and strategic objectives.Contribute to the Weapon System Worthiness Assessment (WWA) process by integrating and documenting risk data.What You BringA bachelor's degree in Operations Research, Mathematics, Engineering, Science, or a related field.5+ years of experience in data analysis, operations research or systems analysis.Strong experience applying statistical analysis methods such as regression modeling and probability-based techniques to real-world data.A proven ability to build, apply, and interpret mathematical or optimization models.Strong data analysis and model validation skills.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills — you can explain complex ideas to both engineers and executives.Detail-oriented mindset with a collaborative spirit.U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance (required).POST-OFFER BACKGROUND CHECK IS REQUIRED.
