Position Summary:
Responsible for supervising the day-to-day operations of the production operations for workflow efficiency and the timely completion of projects to meet production schedules, ensuring Customer success and employe safety, as it relates to the manufacturing and other associated processes of Low and Medium Voltage Electrical Switchgear.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Build strong working relationships with other functional leaders in the company, including those in engineering, applications engineering, project management, quality and test, operations support and human resources to ensure organizational effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
Implement operational efficiencies
Rotate staff as required to meet company output goals
Mentor team and provide guidance for team member goal development.
Identify and resolve operational issues
Ensure that, as the company grows, manufacturing capabilities meet or exceed all industry and customer requirements for cost, quality and responsiveness.
Work closely with the Manufacturing Teams, Leadership Teams and other departments on production plans and schedules that align with company goals
Manage production processes and development and coordinate with purchasing, and shipping/receiving activities.
Regular in-person attendance is an essential function of this job; weekend and night work may occasionally be required.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This job has supervisory responsibilities of all production floor employees
Education and/or Experience
A minimum of 3 years of experience in product engineering, fab management and/or operations of high-volume IC manufacturing in a certified manufacturing organization (ISO9000).
Experience in materials management, from planning through purchasing, manufacturing and administration of multi-million-dollar procurement agreements.
Deep understanding and ability to implement Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement practices
