As a Maintenance Technician, you will be accountable for performing preventive, scheduled, and corrective maintenance on bakery equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations that support continuous production and food quality.Shift & ScheduleShift: 2ndHours: 2PM - 10:30PMWeekend availability: RequiredCompensationHourly Rate: $20 - $28Core Accountabilities (What You'll Be Doing)Perform preventive, scheduled, and corrective maintenance on bakery equipment to minimize downtime and support safe, reliable operationAssist production teams in diagnosing equipment malfunctions and verify equipment readiness after repairs, changeovers, or downtimeSupport troubleshooting of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, and basic PLC-related issuesOperate tools and equipment such as saws, drills, power tools, scissor lifts, and forklifts in a safe and compliant mannerDocument maintenance activities and findings in the Maintenance Management System and communicate updates via computer and emailMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in alignment with GMPs, safety programs, and regulatory requirementsCoordinate work with bakery personnel and escort external contractors to minimize disruption to production and maintenance schedulesMinimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)High school diplomaPlus, a minimum of 1 year of mechanical and/or electrical experience in industrial/manufacturing machineryOR 3 years of mechanical and/or electrical experience in industrial/manufacturing machineryBasic knowledge of mechanical and electrical equipment functions, operating procedures, and maintenance techniquesAbility to handle multiple tasks, prioritize work, and plan activities effectivelyAbility to work safely around moving equipment and in a production environmentMust be at least 18 years of agePreferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)Experience in food, beverage, bakery, or other regulated manufacturing environmentFamiliarity with equipment setup, changeovers, and preventative maintenance programsExperience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)Ability to operate forklifts, scissor lifts, or other material-handling equipment (with appropriate certifications)Strong communication and teamwork skills for coordinating with production, sanitation, and other departmentsAspire Bakeries is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
